Sorellanza, a boutique Italian-American coffee roasting company, sought a full rebranding and distinctive packaging solution. Owned by sisters, Sorellanza desired packaging that would enhance any kitchen. Drawing inspiration from vintage Italian tablecloths and the coastal charm of Italy, we crafted a timeless packaging system that captures the essence of the brand.
Sorellanza’s roast system is based on a time scale. The back of the bag shares some history of old Italian coffee houses.
Using these old Italian coffee house customs, the right side of Sorellanza’s packaging features a scale displaying what time of day each roast is historically recommended for. The shadow the coffee cup casts on the front of the bag correlates to the time of day and intensity of the sun.
The left side of the bag shares Sorellanza’s story of remaining women owned within our family for over 80 years.
